Tours of Worcester Cathedral
Daily Tours
We offer General Daily Tours at 11am and 2.30pm Monday to Saturday. These tours of the Cathedral start from the Welcome area near the Cathedral entrance and can be purchased on arrival. They last 45 - 60 minutes and are ideal for individuals, couples, and small groups (< 10). Price: £8pp (£4 U18s)
Tower Climbs / Tower on the Hour
Tower Climbs are available at weekends and school holidays, subject to weather and availability. Tickets are available to purchase from the Welcome Desk on arrival. For more information, upcoming dates and times, please Click Here. Price: £10pp (£5 U18s. Minimum age is 8).
Library Tours
Enjoy a tour of our stunning Medieval library by filling in the form on the library page here or ringing 01905 732922. Alternatively, email visits@worcestercathedral.org.uk. Price: £15pp for groups of 1-5 people, or £10pp for groups of 6-20 people. All U18s must be escorted by parent or guardian. Minimum age is 8.
Pilgrimage / Parish and Diocesan Visits
These include a general, historical, or spiritual tour of the Cathedral, and can combine with a special blessing or service. Prices available upon request, please email visits@worcestercathedral.org.uk for more information.

NEW FOR 2026: Tour of the Bishop’s Palace, home to the Bishops of Worcester since the 13th century. The Bishop’s Palace is a building owned by Worcester Cathedral and is located next to the Cathedral itself. Not usually open to the public, adding this tour on will give your guests an unforgettable, exclusive experience. Tour includes the 13th century Abbott’s Kitchen, Great Hall, private chapel, and spectacular views of the River Severn. Limited availability.

Are you a tour company bringing a group of visitors with your own tour guide? Please note, tour companies and groups who use the Cathedral as part of their itinerary are welcome, but we do charge £5pp for admission in these instances, and you must pre-book your visit with us.
