A very special, intimate evening of music from the exceptional choral talent of Worcester Cathedral
Spend a memorable evening with Worcester Cathedral’s choral scholars as they perform a selection of choral and solo pieces in the beautiful Old Palace setting. Along the way, discover the journeys behind the voices and hear from musicians who represent the future of choral music—and see how your support could help nurture the next generation of talent.
“That year at the Cathedral was a real turning point as it helped me realise that my future firmly belonged in music.” Dominic Lee, former Tenor Choral Scholar.
“Our choral scholars have the opportunity to work at the centre of a vibrant cathedral music department.” Samuel Hudson, Cathedral Organist & Director of Music.
Complimentary drinks will be available on arrival, with an opportunity to pledge your support to The John Paul Hoskins Choral Scholar Appeal.

Funds raised through this event will go towards The John Paul Hoskins Choral Scholar Appeal. As a tribute to our former Precentor John Paul Hoskins, and his life-long love and support of cathedral music, we hope to raise £45,000 to support the launch of a new funding programme for choral scholars at Worcester Cathedral. This fund will guarantee the appointment of one scholar (alto, tenor or bass), awarded solely on ability and merit, per academic year for the next six years, beginning this September.
