The Dean of Worcester, the Very Revd Dr Stephen Edwards, visited the ferry team on Saturday to bless 'Doris' the boat and take his first crossing as the summer season gets underway!
Doris the Cathedral Ferry takes passengers across the River Severn on Saturdays, Sundays AND Bank Holiday Mondays (all 12.30-5pm), from Easter to September. The cost of crossing remains at 50p per person, and all proceeds go towards running the service with anything additional donated to local charities.
You can hop on 'Doris' the ferry down by the Water Gate or at Chapter Meadow and cross the river taking in the spectacular views of the Cathedral
