Dean Stephen is taking a short break from his duties for health reasons, and whilst he is away, Bishop Martin has asked me to step in as Interim Dean.
I am pleased to be able to do this, and delighted to be working with such a committed and hardworking team, some of whom I have met and others I look forward to meeting in the coming weeks.
I recently retired as Bishop of Reading and moved to Worcestershire with my husband, Keith, to a village near Evesham.
My email address will be interimdean@worcestercathedral.org.uk
We are heading into a busy autumn period in the lead up to Christmas, and we will all need energy, courage and prayer.
I shall be praying daily for the life, work and witness of this wonderful Cathedral. May I ask you (those of you who are praying people) to keep both Dean Stephen and me in your prayers in this period.
With best wishes
Bishop Olivia Graham
Bishop Olivia served her ministry in Oxford Diocese, in parish ministry,
as a parish development adviser, and as Archdeacon of Berkshire before being consecrated as an Area Bishop.
Before ordination she worked in overseas aid and development with Oxfam, mainly in Africa. She is looking forward to to getting to know and understand the life of the Cathedral and its community.
